Description
HAM-2000 high efficiency power amplifier provides audio signal amplification for the INTEVIO voice alarm and public address system. It is reliable, efficient and light in weight.

Functions
Input/output
HAM-2000 supports balanced/unbalanced audio inputs and 100V/70V speaker outputs. It also has a 100V audio input port to connect with the output from other amplifier so that the output power can be increased easily. A contact output is provided to send out the fault status to 3rd system when a fault is detected. Through the RJ45 port, HAM-2000 receives the audio signal and control signal from the controller HCU-2000 or the zone expander HEX-8/HEX-24 and sends back the fault status.

Automatic fault detection and self-protection
HAM-2000 can self-protect from overheat, overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overload and short circuit. For example, when the internal temperature reaches its critical limit, the overheat protection circuit will shut down the power amplification module and activate the protection indicator light on the front panel. HAM-2000 can detect power supply errors automatically during operation. The built-in fuse will provide overcurrent protection to the main power supply. When a shout circuit is detected in the main power circuit, the power will be automatically shut down and the backup power will then be enabled to replace the main one.

X-NPMI Configurable Network Paging Console is a key module in X-618 Digital Public Address and
Voice Alarm System. It provides paging, monitoring, full duplex communication, touch screen operation and other configurable functions.

FEATURES

CONNECTIONS

  • X-618 system can connect with up to 20 X-NPMI via Ethernet. X-NPMI can be used as a node anywhere in the network. To reduce wiring cost, the devices can be connected into an existing network provided that there is sufficient bandwidth to reduce wiring cost.

AUDIO TRANSMISSION

  • The device comes with a detachable gooseneck microphone. Users can change different types of microphone for different real-time broadcasting requirements. The received audio signal will be digitalized to eliminate sound distortion during transmission.
  • The built-in speaker not only can be used for zone monitoring but also full-duplex intercom with other X-NPMI in the network.
  • X-NPMI supports fail-safe operation. Even when the connected X-DCS2000/EN fails, X-NPMI is still able to communicate with other X-NPMI and broadcast through other X-DCS2000/EN in the network.

TOUCH SCREEN

  • Users can operate directly on the innovative 4.3-inch color LCD touch screen without adding an extra key module unit. With the touch screen, users can supervise the system status, select broadcast zones, assign zone groups or other broadcast controls, including setting playlists, timing road castings etc. With the built-in configuration software, zones broadcast status or button functions can be configured easily.

SHORT-CUT OPERATION

  • X-NPMI has three short-cut buttons on the operation panel: microphone switch, all-zone emergency broadcast button can switch the system to emergency broadcast mode, where recorded evacuation message will be played and fire alarm will be activated without delay.

Description
HMC-2000 is the call station for the INTEVIO system which allows user to deliver live paging and trigger background music, service broadcast or emergency broadcast to the selected speaker groups. It can also be used for volume control, temporary recording and audio monitoring, etc. Up to 6 call stations can be connected together in the system.

Functions
• Buttons
HMC-2000 has 8 functional buttons and 8 free configurable buttons. The functional buttons are used for regular functions such as all call, zone close, audio monitoring, temporary recording, recording playback, line input selection and microphone switch. The configurable buttons can be programmed as speaker group selection, broadcast task selection or volume control. The operation mode of the buttons can be configured as press or toggle. More buttons can be added by connecting extension keypad X-K4 and X-K8.

• Audio monitoring
HMC-2000 has the built-in monitoring speaker to monitor the audio source in channel 1 and channel 2, which helps prevent mistaken broadcasting and increase operation efficiency.
• Record and play
HMC-2000 allows user to record the temporary messages and broadcast it immediately without configuration. It’s a function for operation efficiency improvement, especially for the application such as shopping mall/supermarket where the promotion message needs to be frequently updated.
• Fault detection and status indication
HMC-2000 can detect the fault of the gooseneck microphone and communication line. It has 4 LED
indicators to show different status of the unit: power supply, general fault, network fault and busy audio channel.
• Line input
With one line input, HMC-2000 allows user to connect the external audio source such as CD, DVD, tuner,
etc. and broadcast it without configuration. • With 1 line

Description
HEX-24 is the zone expansion device controlled by HCU2000, which adds 24 speaker zones and 24 contact inputs to the INTEVIO system. HEX-24 can connect with up to 6 external power amplifiers and 1 backup amplifier. Up to 5 nos. of HEX-24 can be used together in the system.

HEX-24 has 24 contact inputs that can be linked with the fire alarm system to trigger the alert and
evacuation messages when fire happens. 1 line input is provided to connect with external audio source.
HEX-24 has 24 nos. of 100V speaker outputs which can connect up to 24 speaker circuits. One 24VDC
output is provided to power external device.

• Automatic fault diagnosis
HEX-24 has powerful automatic fault diagnosis function to supervise various types of faults such as main power, backup power, CPU, power amplifier, speaker circuits, communication line, etc. All the fault information will be shown on the LED indicators on the front panel.
• Allow broadcast even the controller CPU malfunctions
The external audio source connected to the line input can still be delivered to all the local zones when the controller CPU malfunctions. This function can reduce the system downtime due CPU failure and increase the safety level during emergency.
