Intending to protect the business premises and people, IDEMIA has launched its latest advanced facial recognition solution, VisionPass is access control powered with Artificial Intelligence algorithms and a state-of-the-art optical system that combines 2D, 3D, and infrared cameras. VisionPass allows convenient access control with near-motion 1-second verification through multiple angles and in all light conditions.

An ideal solution for organisations requiring speed of access and ease of use, VisionPass (293744571/293744604) was developed by IDEMIA with partners and end-users. The robust facial recognition technology of IDEMIA VisionPass access control can revolutionise the contactless biometrics sector, the latest unit replaces the well known 3D Face Reader, which is already a chosen product by many of IDEMIA end users. In addition to simultaneous 3D and 2D facial recognition, VisionPass is equipped with artificial intelligence features that allow it to achieve the highest performance. It has a spoof detection mechanism that is capable of coping with face changes.

Just like Morphowave, the VisionPass biometric algorithm is powered with IDEMIA’s world No.1 biometric know-how and comes with IP65 protection against dust and water enabling outdoor installations. The unit is also impact resistant, with IK08 protection that can withstand the impact of 5 joules (equal to the impact of a mass of 1.7 kg falling from a 3 meters high). The VisionPass operates on a 2.1GHz Quad-Core processor. It has a 7” WVGA colour capacitive touchscreen, and has inbuilt loudspeakers and a microphone, and comes with the option for a contactless reader for Prox, iClass, MIFARE/DESFire cards, and pin code access option. With an internal storage capacity, 20,000 user records, which can be expanded to store 40,000. It can store up to 250,000 IDs in authorized user list 1 Million transaction logs. VisionPass Advanced facial recognition supports Ethernet, RS485, RS422, USB3, Wi-Fi, and 4G connectivity and Wiegand In/Out or OSDP communication. The terminal offers operability in temperatures between -10° and +45°C.
